They asked me to come hangout with them and their cat for the afternoon so we could get some photos of their lives in Greensboro. Shana and Matt were easy to photograph and fun to be with. These three cute ladies let me come hangout with them around the house. There was plenty of flower picking, bubble blowing and reading. For the smallest girl, there was also a lot of sleeping. : ) These photos are a gift for Dad on Father's Day.

Greensboro, NC: Stokesdale's Night with the Hoppers

I was asked by a local family to photograph their son's baseball team as he threw out the first pitch at the Hoppers game last Saturday night. The team also got to be on the field for the National Anthem. In addition to that, it was Armed Forces night at the park. There was a lot of activity pregame and I think the kids had a great time. I was contacted by a local preschool to photograph the kids that attend the daycare. They wanted this shoot in place of the typical posed pictures. To achieve the relaxed look, we set groups of kids lose on the playground and I chased them around taking their pictures. I'm sure I looked hilarious but the pictures turned out awesome.

Recently, I photographed the jewelry of BAC Bead Creations, a little side business started by 3 women who love to make jewelry for fun. BAC Bead Creations is run by Brandy Williams, Amanda Combs and Caroline Raper.

Stop by their booth at the Spring Arts & Crafts Show at the Greensboro Farmers' Curb Market at 501 Yanceyville St. They will be there Sunday, March 21st from 11am to 5pm. Admission and parking is free.

Imagine How 10K Race

Today I participated in the Imagine How 10K - Miles for Matthew at Bur-Mil Park by volunteering as the race photographer. The contributions raised by this 10k go towards helping children diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Imagine How was organized by Allison Greiner who has a son Matthew, age 3 1/2. Matthew lives with Duchenne, a degenerative disease that causes voluntary muscles to weaken. Despite the rain groups of people came out to run and to support this very worthy cause. I did a maternity shoot with Hannah and Brian just a few weeks ago. They were such a fun couple and really excited about baby Clark joining the family. Hannah was admitted to the hospital this afternoon so I wrote this blog as a tribute to them. Good luck guys!
